Why do so many people hate Anita Sarkeesian so much?

Ignoring the problems of plagiarism and general not-ethically-clean behavior on her part, the biggest problem many have with her is that she is not entirely intellectually honest or fair in her analysis. What was touted as an in-depth look of how women are treated in video games ended up being little more than "look at this video game that bugs me" and general hand-wringing about what she considers to be anti-feminist tropes that exist throughout all of art. And it's especially grating that she focuses almost exclusively on either (a) modern games not representative of broad trends in the industry (the ginormous breasts on display in Soul Caliber) or (b) old games whose storytelling techniques were simple by necessity. Imagine for a moment someone deciding to do "tropes vs. men" and writing about how the book Little Women didn't have any point-of-view male characters, and seemed to focus entirely on the young girls and their experiences.
